Business South Luxury Brand Round Table

On 13th July 2017, John Armitage, Jonathan Faiers, Joanne Roberts, and Yasmin Sekhon, all members of the Winchester Luxury Research Group, co-organized a Luxury Brand Round Table with Business South on the Queen Mary 2, Cunard’s premier transatlantic liner at Southampton Docks.

Joined by representatives from luxury brands such as Aspinal of London and Maserati, the Round Table was introduced by Hazel Warwick, Chair of Business South, before Professor Joanne Roberts gave a talk on global and UK trends in the luxury sector. A lively discussion followed concentrating on the luxury section in the South, key opportunities, challenges, the ways forward, and the possible development of a Luxury South Network. Next steps will be discussed at subsequent meetings between the Winchester Luxury Research Group, Business South, and the region’s luxury brand sector.
