The University of Southampton
Woelk lab

Purpose of the meeting

The Bioinformatics journal club was initiated in November 2013 by the Woelk lab as a forum to promote informal interactions between people with an enthusiasm for Bioinformatics and to foster collaborations across the University of Southampton. Every session consists of a critical review of a novel paper that incorporates bioinformatics as part of their research approach, and a presentation of a study that includes an aspect of bioinformatics.

Where and when

The Bioinformatics Journal club is held every last Wednesday of the month, the location alternates between Southampton General Hospital and Highfield Campus. For more information about upcoming meetings, click here.
