Biography
Filippo Festini is Professor of Paediatric Nursing at the University of Florence, Italy and the director of the Nursing research unit at Meyer Children Hospital of Florence. He is the president of the Italian Society of Paediatric Nursing Science and editor in Chief of Children's Nurses-IJPNS.
Festini is the author of 280 scientific papers and is a referee for several international scientific journals. He is also the director of the Post-graduate School of Pediatric Nursing, University of Florence and the vice-President of the Undergraduate BSN Programme, University of Florence.
His main field of research is the prevention of procedural pain and anxiety in children.
