Professor Jonathan Harris speaks at Framer Framed in Amsterdam
Director of Winchester Centre for Global Futures in Art design & Media is invited as the only international speaker to review the new edited collection Dealing with Globalisation in the Presentation and Collection of Contemporary Art, compiled and edited by Mariska ter Horst (aasistant curator at October Gallery, London).
At the book launch of two new books, Changing Perspectives and Unfixed in SMBA (Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam) in Amsterdam, Jonathan Harris , Professor in Global Art and Design and Director of the Winchester Research Centre, will be the international guest speaker and reviewer of the new edited collection Dealing with Globalisation in the Presentation and Collection of Contemporary Art , compiled and edited by Mariska ter Horst.
The event will discuss the issues around the role of the museum and gallery in a globalized society. This important event takes place on 24 May 2012, with a 7:30pm start.
