Harvesting art from the noise of 3D laser scanning
Professors Ryan Bishop and Jussi Parikka are part of the curatorial team for a current exhibition at the at the University of California, San Diego’s Qualcomm Institute.
"Qualcomm Institute Gallery Harvests Art from Noise of 3D Laser Scanning" showcases art works derived from large-scale laser scans of buildings, landscapes and the environment.
The exhibition opened 16 April and runs through until 12 June 215.

Professor Ryan Bishop is Professor of Global Arts and Politics, Co-Director of the Archaeologies of Media and Technology Research Group within the Winchester School of Art at the University of Southampton, and Faculty Director of the Doctoral School (Faculty of Arts and Humanities).
