Outstanding Academic Title Accolade for Professor Parikka

Professor Jussi Parikka's recent new book A Geology of Media, has been chosen in the Choice Magazine's list of "Outstanding Academic Titles of 2015".

Choice is the leading academic library publication and every year its editors single out for recognition the most significant print and electronic works reviewed in the previous year.

In an earlier review of the book last year, Choice wrote: "This book is likely to become part of the canon of media studies."

A Geology of Media is published by University of Minnesota Press.

In addition, Jussi has just been offered a contract by the same Press for his new book project, A Lab Book: Situated Practices in Media Studies.
