I am passionate about developing programmes that enable my students to secure the best roles in the fashion industry; industry connections and projects support this outcome. My research is focussed on luxury fashion and the impact of digital technologies on brand and consumer behaviour, and this research feeds into the teaching and learning of my students.
Amanda is the Programme Leader for Fashion Marketing / Management.
Since graduating with a 1st class honours in Marketing, she has fifteen years of international experience in marketing/ management, and has held strategic roles with companies in the fields of branding and promotion, both in the UK, France and the USA.
She uses her strong industry links to develop collaborations with a view to enhancing the student experience, and to develop strong commercial and employability skills.
Recent collaborations have included the leading fashion recruitment agency, Fashion and Retail personnel, WGSN, Stylesight and Drapers, the leading industry publication for fashion business.
Amanda recently won an award in Innovative Teaching for her contribution to teaching and learning on the Fashion Marketing / Management programme.
