Andy is the Printmaking Technician at Winchester school of Art providing support to UG & PG students across Fine Art and Graphic Art programmes in a variety of fine and graphic art printmaking processes

Andy has worked as a commercial screenprinter and freelance designer and studied Fine Art printmaking at Winchester School of Art.

Along side his role at WSA Andy hosts workshops and drawing based events at art festivals across the UK including Liverpool Biennial.

He has worked with artists on editioning projects and runs etching workshops at local Printmaking Studio Badger Press.

Andy continues to make work with an interest in developing and adapting technologies for use within and alongside traditional printmaking.

Paralel to his interst in Art, Design and Print, Andrew is a keen musician who has been collaborating on various musical projects for the last 25 years.

Responsible for the upkeep and running of the printmaking workshop, delivery inductions and demonstrations to UG & PG students across Fine Art and Graphic Arts programmes. Supervises use of the printmaking facilities for students and staff offering advise and support.

Demonstrator of analogue and digital printmaking processes and techniques as well as bookbinding.

Also runs workshops for Winchester School of Art Saturday Club Saturday Club (https://generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk/wsasaturdayclub/)

And hosts printmaking workshops for visiting local schools.
