Ms Delia Crowe BA(Hons), MA, FHEA
Programme Leader, MA Fashion Design

Delia is MA Pathway Leader for Fashion Design. Delia has nearly 20 years’ experience working as a womenswear designer for many well-known British high street brands. This has included extensive worldwide travel and the building and sustaining of close working relationships with practitioners and factories in many countries, including Hong Kong, China, Japan and India.
"An experience that changes nothing is hardly worth having." - Martin Margiela
She organises and chairs the WSA Fashion and Sustainability Forum, which has become a yearly event for the school; research interests include responsible design, planned obsolescence and our throwaway culture. In this age of fast fashion and planned obsolescence, where consumers are taught there is no value in ‘things’, she works closely with the students, looking towards a sustainable future where fashion is not disposable, and that the craft of the designer – the making of ‘things’ - is to be celebrated.
‘Here at WSA our MA Fashion Design students are independent thinkers, creative problem solvers and ambitious and exciting designers. They are leaders not followers, and this is evident in the variety and quality of the work produced in our studio.’
