Mr Ian Jackson 

Senior Teaching Fellow, Graphic Arts

Mr Ian Jackson is Senior Teaching Fellow, Graphic Arts within Winchester School of Art at the University of Southampton.

Ian has had a range of educational and commercial art and design experiences. He has worked as a designer for a variety of small and large clients within print-based graphics and web design as well as maintaining his own fine art practice. Within education he has established and led a wide range of Multimedia and Graphic Design courses at both Higher Education and Further Education levels. Through this he has developed a range of pedagogical interests that focus
primarily upon the adaptation, manipulation and modernisation of traditional educational learning theories to widen student participation in design education.
