I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and hold a MA in Design for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. I have experience of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at Kingston University, City University and Suzhou Art and Design Technology Institute in China.

I have been Programme Leader of the MA Communication Design course since 2013 and I am module convenor for the Design Laboratory and Final Project modules. The Communication Design programme is concerned with how the role of a designer, design practice and theory evolves in the context of digital networked media. The course has a particular focus on understanding users and user needs, practice-led research and encourages critical engagement with societal issues provoked by the changing media landscape.
