Principal Teaching Fellow, Fashion Design
John is a Fashion Designer, Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and published author on Fashion Design, Fashion illustration and Menswear. His research interests include the multiplicity of fashion identities across media platforms and transnational borders.
John’s extensive industry and professional experience as a fashion designer include working for the prestigious fashion labels of Burberry and Jaeger. He gained international teaching experience while living and working in the United States as well as teaching experience gained in the UK and China. John also serves as the School’s Academic Link Tutor for International Collaborative Programmes.
