Peter Driver, Teaching Fellow, Fine Art, Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton
Peter is a graduate from the WSA Masters programme. He joined the academic staff team in 2016 as part-time Teaching Fellow in Fine Art.
Working from his studios in Reading and with close associations with artist groups in Andover and elsewhere, Peter’s art practice is informed by printmaking, drawing, birding and walking. His work often incorporates text, investigating the role of the viewer as interpreter and constructor of meaning. He brings his experience as a practicing artist into his teaching and tutorial activities, finding a symbiotic relationship between teaching and making his own work.
