Teaching Fellow - Fashion Marketing

Shahina is a Teaching Fellow in Fashion Marketing within Winchester School of Art at the University of Southampton. She is currently the module leader for Professional and Academic Skills (PAS) 2 and Sustainability optional module.
Prior to joining WSA Shahina worked as a Teaching Fellow in Marketing at Dublin City University and also worked as Visiting Assistant Professor in Marketing at Princess Naura University (PNU) in Saudi Arabia. Shahina also worked as an Associate Lecturer in Marketing at Southampton Solent University. Shahina has extensive experience in teaching diverse subjects in the area of Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Fashion Marketing, International Business Management, New Product Development, Market Research and Promotional Marketing Management.
Shahina also has extensive industrial experience. She worked as a Chief Operating Officer at a UK based consulting firm AiPF. She worked as a senior consultant for several major international projects in the area of market entry strategy; she also worked as an international project co-ordinator for the project on strategic design for Solomon Islands Port Authority (SIPA).

Managed Strategic Plan for the Solomon Islands Port Authority, SIPA as a Project Coordinator. The proposed strategic plan was to investigate all aspects that could help to produce a comprehensive and holistic effort which would address both the near term critical areas of concern as well as planning for a longer-term strategy for sustainable growth.
