The MA in Design European Pathways Programme is based on innovative methodologies covering the application of tools, process and techniques to provide students with the necessary skills to integrate design into management and vice-versa.
This Programme is delivered in Barcelona in partnership between Winchester School of Art, UK leader in art and design management, and Elisava the foremost design school in Spain.
Design, at its essence, connects creativity and innovation. These connections shape ideas in a range of rapidly changing industries. Excellence in design gives companies the means to gain competitive advantage by creating attractive propositions for more demanding customers. The Programme emphasises the importance of design as a competitive factor.
Managing the generation and successful exploitation of new ideas is crucial for all companies. With this in mind, the Programme aims to educate the next generation of individuals eager to develop a career in design, providing a holistic approach while also identifying specific innovation challenges and opportunities.
To do this, we bring together educators, researchers, designers and leaders from different design disciplines in collaboration with successful firms based in Barcelona. Through their combined experiences, we offer a unique learning opportunity which will inspire an assured capability to successfully manage design.
