WSA show at Texworld, Paris

A group of third-year Textiles students will be exhibiting at the Texworld event in Paris, with a space sponsored by the International Wool Textile Organisation.

Running from 20-23 February 2007, this international textiles trade fair attracts almost 20,000 visitors from over 100 countries and is a major event for manufacturers, buyers and retailers.

The IWTO offers selected designers this opportunity to ''strengthen the focus and the visibility of wool among international professional designers and to support their career pathways and encourage the exchange of ideas between the designers and the rest of the textile pipeline'' and was impressed by the Winchester students' innovative use of wool at previous events.
