WSA Textile Design student wins SDC regional heat
Level 2 Textile Design (Print) student Harriet Curtis has won the Society of Dyers and Colourists regional heat of their Global Design Competition.
The main criteria of entries, was to demonstrate the creative, imaginitive and original use of colour in either fashion or textiles. This year, the brief also incorporated an aspect of sustainable thinking within the design.
If successful at the UK Final, Harriet will take part in the Grand Final in June 2009 which takes place in Goa, India.
