WSA Staff work with Xiamen University students in China

Fashion Design Fellow Jenny Robinson spent 2 weeks working with the Fashion and Graphic design students and staff at Xiamen University. They worked together on a creative geometric shape design project, with fashion students creating an outfit and graphics students creating the promotional materials for an end of project exhibition.

The students were very enthusiastic and soon understood the process of gathering research, developing design ideas and then producing their final piece of work. The teaching staff at Xiamen University were also very keen to get involved and they taught together on the project to inspire and motivate the students.

The students produced some very creative work and made some innovative fashion and graphic creations based on the theme of geometric shapes using only white.
