Professor Jussi Parikka

In the February 2015 e-flux issue Paul Feigelfeld interviews Jussi Parikka.

The interview, called "Media Archaeology Out of Nature", focuses primarily on the themes of media theory, ecology and interfaces and also on the work Jussi does with the emerging Consortium (with WSA, University of California San Diego and Parsons School of Design, New School); synthetic intelligence, the planetary media condition, remote sensing, etc.

In the conversation, Parikka and Feigelfeld address themes of insect media, the materiality of media culture, and other issues that relate to the conjunction of aesthetics, politics, and technology.
