Peter Jensen presents the Winchester School of Art 2015 BA Fashion Design & Knitwear Graduate Fashion Show
Winchester School of Art (WSA), one of the UK’s leading Art & Design Institutions will hold their 2015 BA Fashion & Textiles Graduate Show at The Yard, Shoreditch on 28th May.
The 2015 Graduate Fashion Collections promise to showcase why WSA students are shaping all areas of the Fashion & Textiles industry. To highlight its strong industry relationships, London based Danish Designer Peter Jensen will hand out two awards on the night - the WSA Fashion Textiles Award and the WSA Fashion Direction Award, to the winning students.
This year’s Graduate Collections include Amy Konig, a 2014 FAD Competition finalist and Antonio Berardi protégé, combines a love of clean angular lines and sculptural fabrics in her Womenswear Collection. Eloise Lancaster’s Modern Menswear Collection is excellently executed and inspired by contemporary tailoring after doing a 6 month internship at Richard James. Odella Yue has looked at 1970’s Japanese Car Culture and Studio 54 to find inspiration for her bold colourful Womenswear Collection and Suzanna James Knitwear Menswear Collection features a range of interesting hand and machine knitwear techniques, creating a poetic ‘slow fashion’ collection.
Heralded as an international centre for ideas and innovation, WSA has a long history going back 150 years and are continuously ‘Making Future’ by developing some of the most talented Fashion & Textiles graduates in the UK.
