MA Communication Design and Kin
The MA Communication Design pathway recently ran a collaborative student project with London-based interaction design studio Kin Design and produced a joint publication to document the work
The collaboration was between Kin Design , who specialise in designing interactive exhibition spaces, installations, displays and objects, and our jointly run student project about the "smart" city. The book contains texts by Professor Ryan Bishop, James Branch (tutor) and Luke Thompson (designer at Kin) as well as examples of students' work.
The aim of the project was to help students learn about linking design to the real world.
You can read more about the project at http://kin-design.com/research/education/smart-cities-brief-winchester-school-of-art/
The resulting book documents the project and the process and is available at http://www.lulu.com/shop/luke-thompson/smart-cities-022/paperback/product-22684818.html
