This Friday, May 5th, from 6-10pm in the Winchester Cathedral Inner Close, students of Winchester School of Art will be participating in The Big Sleep Out, an event being organised by Trinity Winchester to highlight the plight of the homeless.

This project has been developed by our students in collaboration between Associate Professor Daniel Cid of WSA, and the Trinity Winchester residents.

It consists of two concrete actions:

 - A screen-printing workshop based on the outcomes from a collaborative workshop generated between students and residents. Visitors will be able to get a specially customised flyer about the larger event.

 - Short film projections starring Trinity Winchester residents on their daily actions and domestic gestures. Projections will be inside the Cathedral.

Big Sleep Out will be hosting a celebration evening with live music, hot meal and entertainment. For Trinity, this is an interesting way to raise money, and raise awareness of their work.

You can learn more about The Big Sleep Out on the Trinity website at http://trinitywinchester.org.uk/bigsleepout/.
