Front and Back of the publication

A publication produced by WSA's in-house design studio - Studio 3015 - has been nominated for a design award from Antalis in the recycled paper category, in their 2017 Review.

Entitled Crossing Borders, the publication aims to raise awareness of current social and political issues surrounding immigration to foster a richer understanding of cultural perspectives.

This project involves students and staff from Graphic Arts, Winchester School of Art, and Industrial Design, Bilgi Üniversitesi in Turkey, participating in the wider questioning of the contexts of crossing borders. Through the use of live streaming technologies, it aims to compare similarities or differences of practice, and encourage the student cohort to participate and connect with these issues.

The publication was designed by Winchester School of Art’s in-house design team, Studio 3015, who have been nominees of the Antalis’ Review Awards every year since the studio started in 2014. As this research project continues to evolve, Studio 3015 will work alongside the researchers, Graphic Arts lecturers, and the students to produce and disseminate their working findings and discussions.
