Shwetal A Patel, WSA PhD Student and independent Arts Advisor, has appeared at a number of locations this year, giving talks about his studies, his work, and his involvement with the Kochi-Muziris Biennale.

These have included:

Swiss Arts Council - Pro Helvetia Platform at Art Basel

Wednesday, 14 June 2017, at 4 pm

Pro Helvetia invited guests speakers from around the world to talk about Biennials and to explore the importance of these biannual exhibitions in different regions of the world.

Speakers & Participants: Philipp Kaiser (Curator of the Swiss Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2017), Toma Muteba Luntumbue (Artistic Director and Curator of the Biennale Lubumbashi) and Bose Krishnamachari (Artist and Co-founder of Kochi-Muziris Biennale) and Shwetal Patel (PhD Student and arts adviser).

Moderated by Federica Martini (Curator, Head of MAPS, Ecav).

For the fourth year ArtReview organised the talks programme for the CHART art fair in Copenhagen. The series comprised of six panel discussions and one performance grouped under the overall heading ‘The End of the Artworld as We Know It’.

Talks were free and open to the public and took place at the Kuppelsalen of Kunsthal Charlottenborg.
