How to Write an Academic Paper for Publication

Abstract:

In this seminar, which follows on from Professor Joanne Roberts’ seminar on ‘How to get Published’ and is also a response to various WSA staff and student requests, I will concentrate not so much on writing the content of academic papers but on paying attention to the form of academic papers.

This is because there are certain conventions that staff and students must adhere to if they wish to see their work published in academic journals and/or book chapters etc.

The presentation will be relatively short with plenty of time for questions and discussion.
