The course offers a multitude of opportunities throughout the year, both on and off campus. I’ve had the opportunity to work with local fashion companies Emma Pake and Deborah Campbell Atelier through live briefs, overall improving my confidence and knowledge through critical feedback and industry insights.

As well as the critical reading, research, and lectures on relevant topics, the practical experience gained at WSA has been invaluable. During my degree we curated two exhibitions in small groups, as well as assisting with exhibitions at the Winchester Gallery. The hands on experience built up my confidence, skills, and professionalism.

One of my favourite things about the course is that it allows the students to direct their own assignments, so you can choose to spend your time researching and writing about a topic that interests you.
