Jonathan founded Lepe Partners in 2011, an independent merchant bank focused on the media, internet and consumer sectors. Lepe combines corporate finance advisory and principal investment practices dedicated to helping our clients, portfolio companies and investors unlock growth.

Previously, Jonathan was CEO/Co-Founder of LongAcre Partners, Europe’s leading mid-market media corporate finance house, which he sold to Jefferies in 2007.

Prior to this he was Group MD of the Wireless Group Plc, a UK radio group, which was formed when he left Apax Partners to join a buyout of the radio station Talk Radio in 1997, with the backing of News Corporation and Liberty Media. In 2005, Jonathan created Founders Forum with Brent Hoberman and in 2009 they co-founded PROfounders Capital.

Jonathan is the Treasurer of Centre of Policy Studies and on the Advisory Board for the Tech City Future Fifty. He is also a member of the Advisory Board on Planning and Development at the Victoria and Albert Museum, and Chairman of the NSPCC Digital Taskforce.
