Internships

PhD internships are becoming increasingly popular in today’s competitive job market, providing students with the opportunity to expand and diversify their skillset, establish new networks, and gain valuable experience of work outside academia. Host organisations benefit from the up-to-date skills and training that a doctoral researcher can bring to their workplace.

Our CDT students may participate in full or part-time external placements at any point during their PhD studies. The following are some of the organisations who have hosted our students:
