Web Science CDT Student wins Best Paper Award at Web Science 2016 Conference

Niko Tsakalakis, a first year Web Science student at the University of Southampton’s Centre for Doctoral Training, has won the Best Paper Award at this week’s Web Science Conference in Hannover, Germany.

 

His paper “Identity Assurance in the UK – technical implementation and legal implications under the eIDAS Regulation” was co-authored with his supervisors, Dr Kieron O’Hara and Dr Sophie Stalla-Bourdillon.

Niko received his award at the Conference Dinner, which took place in the New Town Hall in Hannover.
