Web Science students celebrate MSc graduation

Students who successfully completed the MSc Web Science have been awarded their degrees at the University’s Winter Graduation ceremony.

The programme’s multidisciplinary approach aims to explore the impact of the Web on society.  The students’ dissertation topics included social media and populism, blockchain technology, user behaviour and geographical data provenance, on-demand vehicle distribution and interactive digital story-telling. 

A number of students are studying a four year iPhD Web Science at the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Web Science Innovation hosted by the University’s Web Science Institute.

Both programmes are accepting applications for 2018 entry.
