Web Science CDT students get hands on Terrarium-building experience

The Web Science Center for Doctoral Training held a Terrarium-building workshop led by Will Lawrence, one of our Web Science Students, and his company Jar and Fern.

It was an informal opportunity for students from across the University to meet while creating a self-watering mini-ecosystem that they could keep.  The workshop included a brief history and the science of terrariums, a hands-on opportunity to make your own and a care guide to keep it happy in future.

Jar and Fern hand make Terrariums, and Indoor Plant Arrangements, specialising in indoor plants and flowers for any space or situation as well as running public and private terrarium workshops in London and around the UK.
