Lecture and discussion with Liam Maxwell

Liam Maxwell, the UK Government’s National Technology Adviser visited the University of Southampton on 26 October to hold a lecture and discussion with our Web Science iPhD students.

Liam talked about how important the research being undertaken by the Web Science Institute is, especially on governmental issues and the need for multidisciplinary research is certain to benefit technological discoveries because there is a need to conduct research through more than just an engineering level.
