Data Protection by Design: Building the foundations of trustworthy data sharing

The University of Southampton will be presenting a paper on the popular topic of Data Trusts at the Data for Policy Conference which is due to take place at UCL, London on 11-12 June 2019.

The paper examines the learnings from Data Pitch and outlining best practice for facilitating data protection by design. You can click below to read the full paper and we welcome any feedback or comments.

The ODI and the University of Southampton are running a workshop on data sharing featuring Data Pitch and Arriva, one of our data providers, at the Data for Policy forum.

Data for Policy is a premier global forum which examines the impact and potential of digital developments in the government sector. Keynote speakers this year include: Margot James, Minister for Digital and the Creative Industries; David Price, Vice-Provost at UCL; and a host of international speakers from the worlds of international government, business and academia.
