WSI Stimulus Fund Call 2022/23
About
The Web Science Institute has been allocated HEIF-funding to support Knowledge Exchange projects with business, industry and external stakeholders, including local government, public sector or charitable organisations, community bodies and the wider public.
We welcome applications for interdisciplinary projects in Web Science, Data Science and Human-Centred AI.
Activities may include:
- Developing and maturing new technologies, ideas and inventions
- Co-creation of innovation
- Translation of research
- Commercialisation for social good initiatives
- Activities which contribute to levelling up and supporting the University’s civic agenda
- Placements and secondments
- CPD and external skills development
- Projects focusing on Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity (EDI)
Any research- or teaching-based stimulus projects must include a non-academic external partner. Projects may run between February and July 2023. Funding awards will generally be between £5k and £15k.
