Dame Wendy Hall Unveils new £9.5m Peveril Building at local college

Regius Professor of Computer Science and Director of the Web Science Institute, Professor Dame Wendy Hall was recently invited to Barton Peveril Sixth Form College to formally open their new £9.5 million addition to its campus. The Peveril Building houses the Business, Law and Economics departments, together with the colleges' extensive humanities curricula and provides learning with 27 modern classrooms, two study areas (including a trading floor for Economics and Business enrichment courses) and a health and wellbeing terrace.

About her visit, Dame Wendy said, "It was a huge honour to have been invited to open this fantastic new building and to see how the students will benefit from these new facilities".
