"The use of Social Networks during a Disaster has dramatically increased. The value of analysing Social Networks in the different stages of the Disaster Management process has been identified. This project focuses on the analysis of Twitter data during the recent UK Storms and Floods in 2013/14. Examining the content, language and tone of Tweets, and relating them to a Disaster Management Lifecycle model, it can be identified whether there is any basis for mapping Tweets to the phases of the model."
