SPARC [and BOAI] at IFLA Preconference

We are pleased to announce SPARC's participation in the IFLA preconference,
"The Impact of Alternative Scholarly Publishing and the Budapest Open
Access Initiative," which takes place on August 15, 2002 in Glasgow,
Scotland. If you plan to attend IFLA this year, please mark your calendars
for what will be be a provocative, constructive discussion on the promise
of alternative scholarly communication models. Frederick Friend, Director
of Scholarly Communication at University College, London will speak on
behalf of SPARC and SPARC Europe.
