Elsevier's Scopus has been doing same for some time now (using Scirus).
I see what you mean about free riding on 0AIster but isn't increased
visibility and discoverability the whole point?

What I worry about is that these databases will use this as an excuse
for not indexing OA journals along with the others.
Has anyone researched this?
