.exe is XP driver
.dmg is the Mac OS X driver

both mfp versions - so stapling etc should work
for 
XP:
run the driver exe

Install new printer using XP printer tools (Start->Printers)
choose Local printer (yes its terrible!)

make a  new tcp ip port for renoir
point "Have Disk" to your unpacked driver dir


for Mac 
- make sure you choose the 9500MF version for all the extras
Set your preferences to 
A4 paper (not letter) and A3 in tray 3
look for Printer-Properties->Device settings and you should see a dialog with Tray 1-4


Vista driver seems easier - no ports to set up although on first connect/find it will put the PCL one in
 and I 
had to replace it with this one.
