Research within the ANTC is diverse covering a range of airframe noise components, new technologies, and state-of-the-art computational and experimental methods.
The ANTC is often looking for new research staff and post-graduate students to work on particular projects in the field of aerodynamics and aeroacoustics.
ANTC has access to most of the University wind tunnels, a number of high performance computing clusters and all the major aerodynamic and aero-acoustic equipment, e.g. particle image velocimerty (PIV) devices, balances, pressure transducers, hot wires and mircophone arrays.
ANTC has been undertaking a number of challenging research projects, which aim to reduce aircraft noise issues and improve the environmental impact. We have delivered a number of great research achievements in many recent research projects.
