Career Destinations organises over 100 events annually. The events are designed to assist you with your career planning, whether you're a student or a graduate.
- Career Destinations Events Calendar
Provides a full listing of all of our upcoming career events. Please go here to book selected events online. - Starting point talks are held from 1pm-1.40pm. Relevant to all students as they are generic career skills talks.
- Skills workshops are ninety minutes long. They are interactive and offer you a chance to work as part of a small group on improving employability skills.
- Mock Interviews take place within Career Destinations. These are a chance to practice your interview skills and receive constructive feedback from leading graduate recruiters.
- Employer Presentations take place in the evening at 6pm in the Staff Social Centre, normally during the Autumn term. These are an opportunity to speak to a specific employer of interest, hear about their organisation and meet people that currently work for the organisation.
- Employer CV Drop in Sessions are an opportunity to have a 1:1 chat with a major graduate recruiter, you are free to discuss your career aspirations, gain CV feedback and find out more about their organisation
- Career fairs Career Destinations organises 5 main career fairs, and also more mini fairs throughout the academic year, offering students and graduates the opportunity to meet with both local companies and the UK's leading graduate recruiters.
- What's on elsewhere All the latest information about sponsorship and funding opportunities, competitions, entrepreneurship, training courses, skills development & work experience, open days and national career fairs and other events that are taking place off campus.
