To Be Good at Work & Be Well Equipped with the Knowledge – the Confucius Institute young teachers’ teaching observation and training in July 2017

On 1st July 2017, the Confucius Institute at the University of Southampton conducted a teaching observation and training for their young staff from Hanban working at local schools as teachers and volunteers.  

Participate teachers demonstrated their good practice in the classroom delivery and shared their thoughts on the teaching pedagogy and methodology. The Chinese Director and the Core Teacher of the Confucius Institute provided comments and feedback to the participants and addressed the dressing code for teachers.

This event provided a good platform for communication and learning to the young teachers. They indicated that they had benefited a lot from the training and they would put what they learned from the training into their own teaching practice and hoped that the Confucius Institute to organize similar trainings in the future.
