A presentation by Dr. Morgan Dalphinis, academic and author of several publications on Creole languages and the oral tradition in language.
He will focus on the contribution made by Black Creole speakers to contemporary English and look at Creole's origins and dynamics. Come along and explore the ways in which Black language (especially Creole as a mainly oral language) has been changing contemporary British communication and culture.
