The Governance of Erasmus Mundus and Erasmus Mundus as Governance: A modified political sociology approach Seminar

This paper addresses the case of the development of the EU's Erasmus Mundus programme of support for 3rd country students to follow masters degree programmes in 3 European universities. The paper adopts a modified version of Lascoumes and Le Gales' ‘policy sociology' approach, which, by focusing on the independent effects of public policy instruments, claims to be able to shed light on the relationships between the governed and the governing.
