Recent government curriculum reforms have highlighted the question of what knowledge students are entitled to have access to during their schooling.
They claim that their proposals offer all students access to 'powerful knowledge'. In this lecture I will present a more adequate account of the relations between power and the curriculum that sees the knowledge/curriculum links as a social justice and an epistemological issue.
