Assistive Technology Suite

Important update regarding the Assistive Technology (AT) Suite

Estates and Facilities will be carrying out building work outside the AT Suite from Monday 27 November 2023 until late January 2024 .

The Estates Team are planning to action the most disruptive work before 09:30am each day, however please be aware that there may be noise disturbance when using the AT suite.

If you find that the noise disturbance becomes too disruptive, you may wish to explore alternative study spaces available across campus .

Designed for students engaged in support from the Student Disability and Inclusion team, the Assistive Technology (AT) Suite is the main area for assistive technology facilities in the University. It is located at Highfield Campus in Hartley Library (Level 2, Room 2047) and is available during normal library opening hours .

Current measures in place to keep you safe:

- The University encourage students to wear face coverings when moving around inside our buildings or in crowded spaces (unless you are exempt). Face coverings can be removed when users are seated at study desks.

- Cleaning materials are provided.
