Assistive Technology Suite

Designed for students registered with Enabling Services, the Assistive Technology (AT) Suite is the main area for assistive technology facilities in the University. It is located at Highfield Campus in Hartley Library (Level 2, Room 2047) and is available during normal library opening hours.

Please note: The workstations are available on a first come, first served basis to anyone who is registered with Enabling Services.

 

Study pods

Study Pods

There are three study pods within the AT Suite. Students may decide to study in these pods when they are using dictation software, as the glass walls on the pods provide some noise reduction.

Please note: When University staff are present in the AT Suite, they will have priority access of the study pods so they can deliver study support to students.

Study skills support

Meet 1:1 with a specialist practitioner (no appointment necessary) for practical study advice and support in the study pods within the AT Suite.

Study skills support is available on Wednesdays, 2pm-4pm in the AT Suite.
