Speaker information

Professor Sergei Chernyshenko , Imperial College London. Currently researching in the areas of: turbulence, in particular organised structures and drag reduction, and small perturbations of turbulent flows; flow control, in particular control of separated flows in vortex cells; theoretical fluid dynamics, in particular application of the Sum-of-Squares (SOS) approach to constructing Lyapunov functionals for fluid flows.
