HABC Seminar

Abstract
Humans can often hear sounds up to around 20 kHz.  However, conventional audiometric measurements (e.g. pure-tone audiometry) have used stimuli with frequencies only up to 8 kHz.  In the last few years, clinicians have become more interested in measuring hearing above 8 kHz.  In the first part of this seminar some of the research in this area will be reviewed.  In the second part, the results of an ISVR project studying otoacoustic emissions at high frequencies will be presented.
