The HR team exists to foster and enable the excellence in our people that will support the University in achieving its strategic ambitions.
Our department is responsible for supporting every stage of the relationship a member of staff has with Southampton. We do this through three core groupings of activity into transactional services, business solutions and supporting leadership with optimising human resources to deliver strategic ambitions:
- HR Business Partners consult with business leaders on delivering key people initiatives that maximise organisational performance
- Centres of Expertise focus on the design of business solutions, people programmes and policies
- HR Operations deal with day-to-day people service delivery
