Laser microdissection

We have a Leica ASLMD laser microdissection (LMD) microscope funded by the AAIR charity. The system enables targeted dissection of single cells or groups of cells from either frozen or paraffin tissue sections for subsequent genomic and proteomic studies. The HRU stocks the consumables needed to use the LMD and can provide training on its use.
